Library Sponsored Clubs/Activities

Club Biblio…AKA the Library Book Club!

Please help us raise money for our Book Club and other library related special events and services.

The Books and Beans Coffee Shop is open almost every day during lunch and sometimes before school. We serve coffee, tea, lattes, hot cocoa, chai, etc. Come get your fix and help raise money for the library!

We are always looking for new members so come visit the library if you would like more information on what exactly Club Biblio could offer you!

Human Rights Club

This new BHS Club will focus on issues of equity, justice, and community, i.e., universal human rights! We will be working in partnership with the Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C. A description of the Human Rights Club can be found here. Last year we had an amazing experience when we traveled to DC. We even managed to meet Mrs. Michelle Obama!! Members of this club need to be outgoing, passionate about human rights and the rights of Indigenous people, and willing to work hard to be leaders and role models both in and out of school. Did I mention how much you need to love fundraising and slinging coffee???

Rising Voices Poetry Club

IMG_0067 (2)

This is a club for students who like to read, write, and perform their own poetry. We work together to help one another through the creative process and end each year with a celebratory performance of our best work.

Makerspace/Coding Club

Learn the basics of coding and get a chance to tinker and create with some of the newest technology available! Mr. Travis Miller heads up this club and really loves geeking out on all things coding and technology.

Information on meeting times and places for the 2017-2018 school year will be posted around school and emailed to all students.
